It takes money to create a safe space.

Your financial support helps our current overhead + fees, event execution - with additional funds for reinvestment in our members and dreams in the following ways:

Our ultimate dream is for our events to be free of charge.

The people we partner with to provide food, do graphic design, run sound, curatorial work, set up, break down, share their personal lives, challenges and beyond all do so as a labor of love. We have been able to maintain the high production value that has been sustained for over a year for little to no money. Currently we have to charge ticketing to ensure the space survives just to meet our out of pocket overhead minimums.

Our dreams are celestial! 

One of our biggest goals is to have a space of our own to facilitate programming on the regular while co-functioning as a community hub that supports and sustains our members. In the future, SWI strives to become a healing community element that drives job creation and resources for members to generate profit from their art. We would like to have an emergency fund for freelancers in need because we know waiting for invoices while bills are due is challenging. 

We are interested in investment opportunities with anyone that is interested in financing ventures with the greater good in mind.
